Generally, I consider my photographic practice as an ongoing investigation into the tenets of the documentary discipline. By remaining mindful of its associated histories and adopting a conceptual approach, my aim is to raise questions on the contemporary role of documentary photography. I am particularly interested in exploring this through experimental curatorial practice. Here, I find the most capacity to explore the boundaries of an ever-expanding medium.

Although photography is my preferred outlet, my deliberately ambiguous approach unties me from its implied set of working parameters. In turn, affording me a sense of creative autonomy and allowing me to pursue other avenues of interest. In particular, my passion for academic writing - predominantly on photographic theory.
